Reports Manager

This is one of the larger modules we offer and provides a school with the ability to create easily their reports using a web based format. There is no limit to the amount of reports or students this system can cope with.

THE REPORTS MODULE CAN MANAGE ANY TYPE OF REPORT - FROM SUBJECT, FORM, HEADMASTER, SPORTS AND EXTRA CURRICULAR REPORTS.

You can create report cycles for individual pupils, forms, years or the school as a whole. Report styles are then applied which allows you to manage exactly what you want to be inputted into a report. These styles can be assigned at subject, year and school level enabling a particular subject or year to customise their reports; for example Science may have three exams – Biology, Physics and Chemistry but French may have only one. You can also customise what is required as well as text length. If necessary, it can automatically work out Set, Year and School size for position values.

When teachers come to write their reports they have the option of writing each report one by one, all at once or writing them in Microsoft Excel and uploading. This gives users the flexibility to write their reports offline at home even if they have no access to the internet. The module includes ‘Smart’ loading system which allows teachers to upload constantly their reports at intermittent periods and not just when they have finished them.

It comes complete with an advanced search manager that allows users to find any report using any query type. Reports are broken up into archived and current report cycles.

Reports can be printed, using templates, in one go without having to do each pupil or form individually. Printing templates are very easy to create and can be applied at the pupil, form, year or whole school level allowing you to customise the printing to your exact needs. Templates can accommodate any schools’ needs, however complex. The reports can either be printed in Internet Explorer or imported into Excel, Word or Access to be printed.

Reports can then be linked in with the Student Portal and Parent Portals for pupils and parents to look at their reports without the need to print them saving the school printing costs.
