Mark Book
The Mark Book Module is a powerful and easy to use module that provides the facility of an electronic Mark Book or Grade Book for forms, sets or the school as a whole.
THE MARK BOOK CAN BE USED BY TEACHING STAFF WITH REGULAR ACCESS TO A LAPTOP OR DESKTOP PC AT SCHOOL OR AT HOME.
The Mark Book is linked with the teaching module. This ensures that the teacher does not have to manually input pupil information. The module automatically selects this information. It also manages all set changes and mark reallocations. Mark books can be set up at different levels so that the module can be used to collect weekly performance grades, examination results – the possibilities are endless.
At a staff level the module allows staff to set up their own assignments or items. Once this is done marks can then be assigned to the Mark Book item. The Mark Book automatically calculates and displays average marks and grades for each pupil and for each assignment/item as well as the position of the pupil.
A staff member can have an unlimited amount of Mark Books - depending on how you set up the module - staff can share their Mark Books with other staff or Head of Department. They can also be exported to excel or word for further analysis.
Mark Books can also be used as a tool to analyze performance at a staff, subject, year and school level. The module produces graphs and other analytical material from the data stored.
The module links up with the Reports Module so that exam results or end of year/term positions can be merged across easily. It also links in with the Student Portal to display results to pupils electronically.
