Examinations Manager

This module provides a school with a professional, computerised examination process from start to finish.

THE MAIN FEATURE OF THE MODULE IS THAT IT IS ABLE TO CUSTOMISE ALL ASPECTS OF ITSELF IN ORDER TO MATCH YOUR SCHOOL'S UNIQUE EXAM PROCESS.

The exam module automatically links in with the Pupil Management module which ensures that pupil data is not duplicated. It can generate a General Candidate Number and Unique Candidate ID as required. The system allows candidates to be entered into individual papers and can then produce statements of entry for each pupil for each board and report any exam clashes. It can also produce the necessary files for electronic sending of forecast grades and coursework information. These, along with the exam entries and results, can be recorded on the pupil's record and profile if required.

The module does not just cater for external examinations - it is also able to manage internal examination cycles. When available, internal exam results can then be imported from MS Excel into the module. The data can then be made easily available for further analysis by other members of staff. It is able to automatically generate reports - in both number and graph form - for all types of results whether it be for an individual, group or school as a whole.

However, it is important to note that the module has an automated validation checking system to ensure that data integrity is maintained. The exam module is a secure environment in order to prevent unauthorised access. All of the results data is held in an encrypted format to make accidental viewing or changing of data impossible.
